Summary

I have 15 years of modeling experience for animated feature films and direct to video productions. The majority of my career has been creating character, props and sets as a Senior Modeler at Blue Sky Studios. Some of the films I've contributed to include The Peanuts Movie, Spies in Disguise, Horton Hears a Who!, the Rio and Ice Age franchises. My interest and specialty are in creating appealing cartoon designs in three dimensions.

Experience

  • Senior Modeler at Blue Sky Studios
    Greenwich, United States of America
    December 2006 - Present

Creating character, set and prop models for use in film production. Generally I'm translating drawings from our Design Department into dimensional models meeting the artistic aesthetic while meeting the technical standards required by all downstream departments in the production.

  • Modeler at Glueworks Animation
    Charlotte, United States of America
    January 2005 - November 2006

My primary role was as a modeler, building characters, props and sets. The nature of the small studio production meant I also helped in nearly all other roles of production, including: character and set design, UVing, shading/texturing, rigging, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
